Official history of organization:

The Harstad Fine Arts Series, Inc.  (HFAS) is named after the late Associate in Ministry for Worship, Bonnie Harstad. It is a continuation of her vision to bring the arts to our community and honors her years of service that brought such vibrancy to music and worship, gaining the congregation national recognition. Faith Lutheran is known for being “deliberately diverse and fully inclusive” and is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, one of the largest denominations in the United States.

Established December 2015 by the congregation council of Faith Lutheran Church, ELCA, HFAS is an independent entity striving to serve the community by offering outstanding concerts and exhibitions, always free to the public. The first season (2016-2017) was a triumph with full houses, satisfied concert goers, and received critical acclaim. All artists engage in community outreach and concerts reach a wider audience by being broadcast on local public radio.
