The reception on November 6, 2022 included opening remarks by William (Bill) Hudson
& Virginia (Ginny) Smith and an introduction of the artist William Tippie.
Mr. Tippie is a well known Kentucky artist whose body of work contains water color,
acrylic, oil, encaustic, pen & ink, and of course, the “Tippie Doodle”. The subject
matter is just as varied as the medium with Kentucky landscapes and rustic rural
architecture playing a major role.
The exhibit showed pieces that span more than four decades of work – many
from private collections that have never been shown publicly!
Several pieces were available for purchase.
